2025 Free Agent Contract Projections
401 player valuations!
Last year we put together 105 free agent contract projections for AtoZ Sports. This year we went for the motherload. 401 free agent contract projections. The Initial post includes APY, length and total value estimates. Over the coming weeks we will look to update with fully guaranteed estimates as well.
Two other updates will happen as time passes as well. For any players still in the playoffs there may be some minor updates depending on their performances in the post-season. Playoff narratives can affect a player’s value. 2023 L’Jarius Sneed is a prime example. If we make an update, we will keep the original projection and note the new one side-by-side. A “show your work” step, if you will.
The second is a running tracker of how accurate we are. As players are signed, we will update our files to note what those actual contracts were vs. what we projected.
I also want to note that we used the free agent lists provided by the fine people at Over The Cap. Their resources have been invaluable to this project.
